Suggested maximum load is about 10 kg per shelf when properly mounted on a brick wall.
Materials
- 18 mm laminated wood board (see cut list)
- HDF back panel 3 mm 800×600
- Wood screws 4×40 mm (12 pcs)
- 2 steel L-brackets + 8 mm wall plugs
- Drill, tape measure, try square, sandpaper
Steps
- Cut the boards according to the cut list (download the CSV file), then sand the edges with 120 and then 240 grit sandpaper.
- Mark the positions of the 3 shelves on the 2 side panels: 0, 290 and 580 mm from the bottom (shelf bottom edge).
- Pre-drill and drive 4×40 mm wood screws (2 screws at each shelf end), checking squareness with a try square.
- Fit a thin back panel to prevent racking.
- Hang on the wall with 2 steel L-brackets and 8 mm plastic wall plugs (brick wall) or screw into the studs (drywall).
